What is HACCP?


HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point and refers to procedures that someone working in the food sector or business must put in place to ensure that food is safe. Food thermometers from Techris Systems can play an important role in your HACCP plan.



Is a Calibration Certificate Necessary when Purchasing a Thermometer and how often should calibration be done?


Industry legislation and/or guidelines will dictate whether you require a calibration certificate and how frequently the certificate should be updated. Many food or Pharmachem related applications require that calibration certificates are renewed at least annually. It is important to note that a nationally recognised calibration certificate such as the Irish National Accreditation Board (INAB) traceable certificate offers the confidence and security in knowing that your measurements are accurate and reliable.

Do you calibrate any make or model of thermometer or data logger?


Techris Systems calibrate all models/brands of digital thermometers, food & catering thermometers and data loggers. We will issue a calibration certificate traceable to National Standards regardless of the make or model.    Custom calibration certs at specified temperature points also available.
